The Amulet of Amon-Ra Nominted for Prix Aurora Award
CBAY Books is excited to announce that The Amulet of Amon-Ra has been nominated for the Best Novel in English Prix Aurora Award. These awards are given out by the Canadian Science Fiction and Fantasy Association to the top speculative fiction novels of that year. We at CBAY Books are honored that The Amulet of Amon-Ra has been the only children’s book to be nominated in the Best Novel category.
“I am thrilled!” said Leslie Carmichael, author of The Amulet of Amon-Ra. “Competition will be fierce! I think it’s really cool just to be nominated.”
Although only open to Canadians, voting is currently taking place on the Prix Aurora Award’s website. Winners will be announced at the Canadian Science Fiction and Fantasy Association’s Canvention in May.
